The English Language, I was told, is the language of Milton, Shakespeare and the Bible. However, the language has undergone innovations and permutations over the centuries as it travelled across the world.
Indian English, an adaptation of the original, often encounters hilarious and shocking play of words and letters. I hope to enlist, occasionally with pictures as proof, this outrageous and callous attempt to abuse the language.

Hee...hee!!
I guess this is what happens to all sub-editors "keepers of the language" at some point or the other.
So when is your book, like (sorry) such as, 'Eats, Shoots, Leaves'
coming up??
have I spelt everything properly?!
This is a good way to keep brushing your knowledge on the word power. It will help you to be on the edge at work...AM
Thank you! though most words here are simple words - which is what rankles - i mean when u see a simple word misspelt.
And i think Indians are generally finicky about Eng. spellings - at least we have been taught that way.
