The name doesnt bother me so much as the stuff it sells - stationerys. Stationery itself is plural and doesnt need an 's' in support. It stands for envelopes, notepads, pens, pencils, erasers, paper clips, staples etc.

Another shop nearby sells 'stationary', paste brush, cola and so on. Stationary means constant or non-moving but is often misspelt to refer to stationery.
