Intertainment

This was sent by my brother to provide some long-deserved entertainment for this blog's fans.

"Subject: a photo of the LIPA building in Liberia.

Here is one for you from Monrovia, Liberia. We spotted this while stuck in a traffic jam on the way home from the office in the Liberian capital.

Liberia has some legendary names for restaurants and other establishments. If a word doesn't capture it, then they use entire sentences to name places. So there is 'My wife's cooking no good Restaurant (perhaps meant for men who are driven to restaurants cos their wives are poor cooks), 'Downsizing, rightsizing restaurant ( for civil servants who are being retired as part of the donor support downsizing of the government) etc."
